Kailash Mansarovar Dham is a very sacred place in the Hindu religion. Many pilgrims visit this place every year. As this place is situated near Indo-China borders, both the governments carry out a pathway for the conduction of pilgrimage.
Many historical and religious books in India have stated that Lord Shiva lived on Kailash Parvat. Kailash Parvat is often sometimes referred to as Kailash Mansarovar Dham.
It is still believed that Lord Shiva lives in this sacred place. There are many beliefs which lead to this particular conclusion.
It is claimed that officially, no one has still climbed the Kailash Parvat. So it is believed by the people that whoever climbs the mountain will have to face the consequences. It is also believed that People with no bad deeds (pure soul) can easily climb the mountain.
It is also believed by he locals that hairs and nails grow faster in the Kailash region. Mansarovar Lake is considered a sacred lake. It is also claimed that Lord Shiva appeared in between Kailash Mountain. Local people suggest other tourists to not to climb it.
Above all are beliefs. Beliefs are beliefs, lets not to investigate further. If someone’s belief is that Lord Shiva live on Kailash Parvat, it is his/her faith in God. Everyone should respect each others faith.
